Why was GettinLocal Created?
Our Founder and CEO came up with the idea during his extensive travels. He and his family struggled to find authentic things to do around activities and restaurants to experience the destination “like a local.” He only found Google Searches and Hotel Lobby brochure displays when he looked for things to do and local dining experiences. From there, the idea was born to put the most must things to do and places to visit into the palm of the traveler’s hand.
What is GettinLocal and how does it work?
GettinLocal is a personal e-concierge that gives you the tool to discover all the best things to do, see, visit and explore. GettinLocal is a contactless discovery platform that uses hyper-local GEO fenced technology that allows you to find all the things to do to curate your own visitor experience.
What if I don't want to turn my location services on?
Our Services use GPS technology (or similar technology) to discover all the things to do and places to visit to identify your current location to determine the city you are located within and display a location map with relevant businesses near you. Without the location services enabled, you greatly diminish one of the best features of GettinLocal, and it will make it harder to discover all the things to do and places to see!

We’ve partnered with Viator, the largest consolidator of travel experiences and things to do worldwide. They have handpicked tours and activities with extensive descriptions and imagery. In addition, they are all reviewed and rated, making it easier for you to find the best activities and things to do. Plus, with their sole focus on tours and activities, Viator can negotiate the best rates and special offers.
Does GettinLocal use or sell my personal information?
GettinLocal may use your Personal Information to contact you regarding the Services. We may also use your Personal Information to provide services requested by you and for internal research and marketing purposes. GettinLocal will not use, disclose or sell your Personal Information to any third parties for any purpose other than those to deliver the Services. Additionally, we will not sell or transfer to unaffiliated third parties any Personal Information that you submit without your consent.

To start discovering all the things to do around you, simply go to your APP store (available on both Apple and Android) and download GettinLocal.
What is the cost?
GettinLocal is free and easy to download, so you can start discovering all the things to do around you. GettinLocal also does not charge transaction or booking fees, and many of the businesses offer special deals only available through GettinLocal.

We gather all the best things to do and see, and you can search by category: Food & Dining; Tours; Entertainment; Shop; Beauty & Health; Hotels; Activities; Bars & Night Clubs; and Services and place them in the palm of your hand.
Can I discover things to do that are not around me?
Use our hyper-local “Where To” feature to discover all the things to do before you arrive or visit a new neighborhood in your own city.
